Bio:

1815. The Lightwood family. Five sisters, along with their little brother, reside in the English Countryside just outside of the capital London with their mother and father. It is the most traditional period of British history and the Lightwoods are living through it - the marriages, the balls, the gossips and the matchmaking; a rich age for wellbeing. Unless you are the Lightwoods.

Though they are rich and fondly thought of throughout the village of Castledon the family's history is something of a mystery. While living in London Mr Lightwood's sudden windfall of a large inheritance was a shock to many and though he never spoke of it there were rumours of double-crossings and betrayal to get what he wanted, which were soon put to bed by his ever-devoted wife who stood by his side.

The five sisters and their brother were never exposed to the gossip. After the move from London at a young age they were raised in Castledon away from the whisperings and jibes at their father. They are now happily settled and devote most of their time to the family whislt continuing their search for the perfect man to marry.

Though all alike in age (almost all are a year apart) the sisters are vastly different in personalities, an eclectic mix of views, ideals and passions adding up to a rather tumultuous relationship between them.

Native villagers, romantic rivals, dashing men, conniving socialites, respected families and perhaps even a few adulterous casanovas, Castledon has it all waiting in the wings.

The Innocents is a game based on the works of Jane Austen. Timeless classics such as Mansfield Park, Pride and Prejudice and personal favourite Sense and Sensibilty influence this game. Don't be alarmed if you're not overfamiliar with the stories! All we ask for is for a basic, general understanding of the age/writings/type of characters that are usually seen in these period dramas.
